Le Meridien Bora Bora

Set on the Pearl of the Pacific, Le Méridien Bora Bora is located on a six-mile-long motu islet, facing Otemanu Mountain, within one of the most beautiful lagoons in the world. It is a lush island of tropical rainforests set at the edge of an azure lagoon and, as travelers quickly discover, one of the most beautiful, romantic places in the world.

Le Méridien Bora Bora has 99 tropically themed bungalows perched over the spectacular lagoon or nestled next to ivory sands amid the shadows of towering coconut trees. The resorts over-water bungalows feature glass-bottomed flooring, providing stunning views of marine life beneath the surface. Meanwhile, beach bungalows offer private beaches and hammocks. Gentle South Pacific breezes waft indoors, cooling interiors as they ripple the delicate curtains of canopied beds.

Enjoy a different themed cuisine each night of the week at Le Tipanie restaurant. Swim with the turtles in the turquoise lagoon before heading to dinner to watch glorious sunsets over the water, with the silhouette of the imposing extinct volcano, Mt. Otemanu, towering in the background.

Speaking of turtles, the Turtle Sanctuary at Le Méridien Bora Bora is a renowned effort to help save the magnificent hawksbill and green sea turtles. The only one of its kind in French Polynesia, the sanctuary offers educational presentations to spread knowledge of these beautiful and all-too-threatened creatures. Guests can also swim with the turtles in the picturesque lagoon or even "adopt" turtles in an ongoing effort to return them to their natural habitat.
